New widget
Cards works for hotels, flights, and packages. Magazine features a hero offer with an editorial mosaic below. Departure board and Boarding pass are flights only. Ticker is a compact horizontal crawl, ideal for site headers and footers. Popup shows offers in a slide-in panel, modal or banner triggered by visitor behaviour.
Auto-detect from visitor location
Looks up the visitor's nearest UK airport via IP geolocation. Falls back to the default below.
Used when auto-detect is off, when geolocation fails, or for non-UK visitors.
Allow visitor to switch airport
Adds a tap-to-change menu to the header so visitors can pick a different nearby airport.
How far ahead to look for cheap fares.
Each type returns a different card layout.
Country codes, IATA codes, or city/resort names. Type and press Enter to add.
Airport IATAs or country codes for departure points.
Only show these kinds of place to stay. Choose one or more; choose none for any. Only offers that name their type are shown once you choose, so a few packages with no type drop out. Hotels, packages and holiday-package styles only.
Hotel-only. 0 = any rating.
Flights and packages only.
Only offers flying with these airlines. Separate them with commas: a two-letter code (BA, U2) or a name. Leave blank for any airline. Flights and packages only.
Only offers from these Travelify suppliers. Separate them with commas: a supplier's name or its Travelify id. A package from two suppliers shows when either is listed. Leave blank for any supplier.
Link each deal to its exact property
When on, clicking a deal searches that specific hotel on your booking site. When off, it searches the deal's destination with matching dates, board and rating (the current behaviour). Deals without a property reference always fall back to the destination search.
Rolling window starting from today.
How many offers the widget pulls per page load (supplier maximum 250 per request). This caps what visitors see, not what exists — the dedupe panel's "Available offers" shows the true count for your filters.
Used for the buttons in the magazine style, the ticker's label badge and the popup's heading and buttons.
Used for IATA codes, CTAs, badges.
14px
Applied to all text in the widget.
Grid stacks all offers. Carousel rotates through them with arrows and swipe. List renders compact horizontal rows — ideal for scanning lots of properties fast.
Compact, Standard and Detailed control how wide each card is — they don't switch fields on or off. Use the toggles below to choose what's displayed.
Dark evokes a real airport board — best for hero sections. Light blends into bright marketing pages.
Split-flap animation
Subtle character flicker on each refresh. Honours reduced-motion preferences.
Auto-refresh
Re-fetches fares on a timer. Always refreshes when the visitor returns to the tab.
Status pills
One pill per row maximum, picked by priority. Cheapest, Today and This week are always on. The three below are optional.
Tomorrow pill
Orange pill for flights departing in 24-48 hours.
Going soon pill
Teal pill for flights departing within the next N days. Threshold below.
Luxury operators may want a tighter window (7 days), budget specialists looser (21–30 days). Default is 14.
Premium cabin pill
Purple pill for Business and First class fares.
Biggest discount picks the offer with the largest "was vs now" saving. Featured picks the first offer with featured=true if any (falls back to biggest discount). Cheapest uses the lowest price. First uses whatever Travelify returned first.
Every Nth banner gets the feature treatment — taller image, larger headline, more body copy. Like the cover stories in a print magazine. Set to Off for uniform banners throughout.
Editorial dividers
Small caps text between sections (e.g. "8 more handpicked stays") for editorial feel.
Below the hero, every offer is rendered as a full-width banner card. Banners alternate sides — image left, image right, image left — for visual rhythm. On mobile, all banners collapse to single column with image on top.
Two columns on desktop, falls back to one on mobile regardless. Set 1 for a tighter, more vertical look on full-width sections.
Show barcode strip
Decorative barcode on the stub. Turn off for a cleaner pass shape.
Boarding pass is flights only — accommodation and package filters are ignored when this template is active. Use the same flight filters as cards (origin, cabin class, dates).
Pills shows offers as discrete card pills with hover states — works on most sites. Ribbon is a continuous strip with diamond separators, like an airport flight info display.
How fast the ticker crawls. Medium (80s loop) is a comfortable reading pace. Slow may feel static; Fast is decorative motion rather than readable info.
Show label badge
"Live deals" stamp on the left edge with a green pulse indicator.
Short text — keep under 20 characters. Examples: "Live deals", "Flight deals", "This week's offers".
Pause on hover
Visitor hovers anywhere on the ticker, the crawl pauses so they can read or click. Recommended on.
The ticker shows offers as a horizontal marquee — best placed in a site header, footer band, or between content sections. Works for accommodation, flights, and packages. The ticker honours prefers-reduced-motion and falls back to a static snapshot for visitors who've turned animations off.
Slide-in is the friendliest default — sits in a corner, dismissible. Centered modal is more disruptive but higher attention. Top/bottom banner shows offers as a strip across the page. Floating card shows a single offer at a time, ideal for the rotating "ambient deals" effect. Side drawer takes a full vertical edge.
use
centered
layout
Click any of the 8 positions. Bottom-right is the convention — sits where users expect the popup to appear without blocking key content. For dead-centre, switch the layout to centered.
Auto picks a sensible mode for each layout. Carousel works best in slide-in / centered. Split needs a wide layout (centered or fullscreen) — falls back to single if too narrow. Countdown is for time-bound campaigns with a deadline.
Split needs Centered or Fullscreen layout. The current layout is too narrow for two columns, so the popup will render as single mode instead.
Stacked shows offers as full-width image-left rows — readable, dense. Grid arranges them as 2-column image-top tiles — more visual, fewer offers fit. Hero + list features the first offer with a big image, the rest as compact text rows — best for "today's best deal + 3 alternatives".
Date and time the deal expires. Timer ticks down to this. Once passed, the popup gracefully falls back to the single-offer view.
Small text shown above the timer digits. Defaults to "Offers end in".
On load with a 5-10 second delay is the friendliest. Exit intent catches the visitor as they leave — high attention, can feel pushy. Scroll means they're already engaged. Click is for explicit "Show me deals" buttons.
5000ms (5 seconds) is the standard. Anything under 2 seconds feels rude. Above 30 seconds and most visitors will have left.
Fires when the visitor has scrolled this far down the page. 50% is engaged, 75% is committed.
Fires after N seconds with no mouse / keyboard / scroll / touch activity. Catches visitors who've stalled.
Fires once the visitor has viewed this many pages in their session. 2-3 means they're actually browsing.
Any click on an element matching this selector opens the popup. Use a class or ID — keep it simple. Example: .show-deals or #header-deals-link.
Once per session is the polite default. Every visit is aggressive and only suits true offer-led sites. Once per visitor is for major announcements you only want shown once.
If the visitor dismisses the popup, don't show it again for this many days. 0 means no extra suppression on top of the frequency rule. 7 gives them a clear week's break.
If the visitor clicks an offer (a "conversion"), don't show the popup again for this many days. The default 30 means we don't pester someone who already engaged.
Comma-separated list. Supports * wildcards. Leave empty to show on every page. Example: /destinations/* matches any destination page.
Same syntax as above. Common: exclude /checkout and /booking/* so you don't distract visitors who are already buying.
Desktop
Tablet
Mobile
Mobile popups are riskier — small screens mean even a slide-in feels like an interruption. Consider mobile-off if your popup is centered or fullscreen.
Short label shown at the top of the popup. Examples: "Live deals", "Today's offers", "Hand-picked".
Show pulse indicator
Green pulsing dot next to the heading — communicates "live" / "real-time".
How many offers actually render inside the popup. Separate from the main "Max offers from API" — that controls how many come back from Travelify. This caps how many fit in the popup itself. 6 is comfortable for a slide-in panel; 3 feels premium for a centred modal; 1 for a floating card with rotation.
For the floating-card layout (single-offer mode), how often to switch to the next offer. 0 disables rotation. 8000 (8 seconds) feels natural. Honours prefers-reduced-motion automatically.
Shown at the bottom of the compact card list. Only displays if both this and the footer CTA are filled in.
Where the footer CTA button links to. Usually your full deals page.
Show close button
Close on Escape key
Close on backdrop click
Visitor clicks the dimmed background — popup closes. Only applies to centered, fullscreen, side-drawer.
Show backdrop overlay
Dimmed background behind the popup. Off means the popup floats over the page without dimming. Slide-in / floating-card / banners ignore this.
How dark the backdrop is. 60% is comfortable. Below 30% feels weak; above 80% feels heavy.
Per-night options need accommodation nights — they fall back gracefully on flight-only offers.
Prices are converted from GBP to this currency at live exchange rates.
Let visitors switch currency
Adds a currency picker above the offers so a visitor can choose their own.
